The Anglo-Hibernian Universal Quarterly Registrar Of Slave Duty And World Linguistics (later shortened to ‘The Daily Weekly Blogicle’) was founded by cotton millionaire and penguin hunter Sir Latitude Chives on October 3rd 1765.
The paper’s original run, printed on wafer thin gold lattice, lasted entirely of one day and 32 seconds and the final issue was published (on straw) on October 4th 1765.
